. Anamur - Turkey vacations normally include beach time, and there are many to choose from. Situated close to the Turkish town of Alanya. Anamur beach has been called one of the finest in the entire country. This beach is a well-kept secret, and very few foreigners are even aware that it exists. There is even a ghost town close by.

2. Patara - This beach is located to the south of Fethiye roughly forty-five miles, and is more than twelve miles long. It is considered the finest beach in Turkey by locals and visitors both. There is not a lot of shade at this beach though, and the accommodations are limited.

3. Iztuzu - This beach offers fabulous views as well as clean sand and even logger-head turtles in some areas at certain times. The beach is located near Dalyan, and is only five miles from the Dalaman Airport. There are also cliff tombs, ruins, and a river in the area.

4. Olimpos - This is one beach that is very popular on Turkey vacations, and this beach is not like any of the others. It is small, less than fifty miles from the city of Antalya, and there are usually very few people at any time because the beach is secluded. Behind this choice is a forest, and there are a number of Roman ruins that are still located in the woods.

5. Kizkalesi - The closest city to Kizkalesi beach is Silifke, and this is a hidden gem that is not well-known to foreigners. The beach itself is somewhat small, but there is almost never a crowd because most visitors do not know about it. There is a castle out at sea which makes this beach unique.

6. Oludeniz - This is the most famous beach in Turkey, and one of the top ten. Because of the world renown status of this beach it can become crowded at times, but it is still a great place to go. There are a number of excellent hotels in the area, as well as numerous bars and restaurants, and the sand is clean and inviting.

9. Antalya - This beach is extremely long, and has sand and pebbles which are coarse and not soft to walk on. It is always kept extremely clean though, and the size of the beach means you never have to worry about large numbers of people in one place.

10. Pamucak - If you enjoy Turkey vacations on the beach then Pamucak beach is a great destination. This beach is large and broad, and offers sand which is dark. This beach is situated just four miles from Ephesus, and is one of the top ten beaches in Turkey.
