Adults, however, may enjoy a relaxing stroll around the little lakes and pools that can be found throughout the site.

Athens is a scenic city and to see it from a prime vantage point, ascend Lykavittos Hill. Walking to the top takes around an hour and once you reach the summit you will be rewarded with magnificent views, so make sure you bring your camera.

Turkey is another wonderfully sunny destination and Istanbul has plenty to keep younger children entertained. For example, the fabulous Dolphinarium could be the ideal place to take little ones, who will have the chance to see special shows featuring belugas, walruses and dolphins. Meanwhile, children over ten could be able to swim with dolphins!

Alternatively, why not embark on a daytrip to Princes' Islands? Traffic-free, this location is a joy to explore by bike or on foot, as well as being an ideal location for a spot of swimming in the sea.
